MIGUEL BARRON, CFA
Managing Partner
Miguel Barron, CFA is a 30-year veteran of financial markets, having begun his career in 1992 as an investment analyst at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), based in Abu Dhabi. In 1995 Miguel moved to London and later New York, where he would work in institutional equity sales for a number of prominent investment banks, including Robert Fleming, BT Alex Brown, Collins Stewart and most recently UBS. Mr. Barron was also Investment Advisor to Banco Santander’s UHNW group based in Miami, managing portfolios for some of Santander’s largest clients. Miguel is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) and holds a M.A. in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He is a CFA charter holder since 2001. Mr. Barron is also a published author and is fluent in six languages. He has two sons and currently lives in NY.
ADAM NEVES
Managing Partner
Adam Neves has been investing in the public markets for over 25 years. Prior to First Light Investment Advisors, he was the Director of Research for New England Investment and Retirement Group, an investment advisory firm located north of Boston. There, he was responsible for the creation of multiple equity and fixed-income portfolios. Mr. Neves was also a portfolio manager for Anchor Capital Advisors in Boston where he co-managed the AMG Managers Enhanced Equity Fund, utilizing his expertise in the implementation of option strategies. Adam began his career at Collins Stewart in New York advising institutional investors on public equity market investments. He holds a BSBA from Northeastern University, is married with two daughters, and currently resides in MA.
GRANT SPRADLIN
Managing Partner
Grant Spradlin joined First Light Investment Advisors after spending 20 years in technology as a consultant and advisor to dozens of Fortune 500 companies including major financial institutions and half of the Fortune 10. He most recently served as the VP, Customer Success and Support for a global software company and as an Executive Advisor focused on strategy, operations and customer success. Grant is now leveraging his diverse background in business, technology, and client service at First Light Investment Advisors to support the firm’s operations and investments in High Growth and Crypto strategies. Grant holds a B.S in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University. He is married with three children and currently lives in Scituate, MA.
